This Tops Applebee’s for “Bad Experiences in a Restaurant.” Hands Down.

You probably already “heard” about this from Michelle, but if you haven’t, here’s a warning:

When craving a steak, choose a restaurant that doesn’t have insect bits in their salads. Preferably one that won’t try and charge you for such a salad. Even if that means going to motherfucking Outback.

  1. The Outback has the best bread.

But that wasn’t the point of your story, huh? I’m proud to say that I’ve never eaten at an Applebee’s. A friend told me he did the wiring for one once and that the kitchen was infested with rats. That was enough to turn me off the chain restaurant forever. Fair? No. Necessary? Hellz yeah.

  2. Yikes!

Yeah, I love the Outback bread as well.  My old office was over an Outback, and we used to hang out there after work a lot.  I was always impressed by their food and service.

  3. I wonder if the insect bits were worse than the chunk of pig femur I found in my Donimoes hawaiian pizza? Sounds like they might have been.
